Duke Levine
You’ve almost certainly heard musician Duke Levine, even if you’ve never actually heard of him. The prolific guitarist, who’s graced many local stages, has also played the Grammys, halftime at the Super Bowl, Austin City Limits, and a good number of the morning and late-night talk shows. He’s toured and recorded with the likes of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Aimee Mann, and Peter Wolf (Levine can be heard on Wolf’s upcoming album); dabbled in producing; and played for TV and film scores, including a few recent sessions for the upcoming John Sayles movie, Honeydripper. Levine has also found time to release three instrumental albums of his own, with a fourth planned for sometime in the coming year
