Marc Orfaly
Chef/co-owner of French restaurant Pigalle and Italian trattoria Marco, Marc Orfaly is known for his approachable but upscale gourmet tastes. Yet Orfaly finds his latest inspiration in the relaxed attitude of Malaysian flavors; eatery, drinkery, and general laidback hangout Mo’s Noodle Bar is slated to open at the edge of Chinatown in October, with a menu comprised of simple, small plates like shumai, steamed pork bao, and lamb curry triangles. And, at press time, Orfaly was nominated by the James Beard Foundation for the prestigious “Best New Chef in the Northeast” award. We knew we had a winner on our hands.
