Describe Boston’s nightlife scene: I think it’s just right. It’s not like New York; New York is a little too much. I’ve partied in cities like Amsterdam, Rome, and New York, and [there’s] almost no end to the night. I always consider Boston like a mini New York; where[as] New York is too much, Boston’s just right.
What do you like best about this bar? The sophisticated people that come in here. The atmosphere, definitely.
Where are you a regular? Here and Tresca.
How often do you go out? Three times a week.
Who’s your favorite bartender? Gianni di Parma of Tresca.
What qualities do you look for in a great bar? Atmosphere, first off. People. Hours, definitely good hours. Like, the 10 o’clock bars, I’m done with [them].
What’s your drink of choice? Usually a good beer, usually an imported beer.
What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever shared with a bartender? How life is so demanding when it comes to work and the stresses of life.
