Erica Cashman
Erica Cashman is practically a real-estate mogul — and she’s only 28. Currently at the helm of Horizon Partners, the real-estate division of her dad’s famed Jay Cashman, Inc., her current projects include — ready for it? — the development of luxury homes in Hingham, mini horse-farm estates in South Carolina, and single-family homes in Stoughton, plus the permitting of a 600-acre island off the coast of Panama and the leasing and management of two industrial waterfront properties. The Boston College grad moved to New York after school to pursue a music career — which resulted in her 2005 album Nothing Left to Say — before returning to Boston two years ago to work her real-estate magic. But Cashman hasn’t given up on her dreams of stardom: she was recently selected as one of the flagship artists for do-gooder music site Melvin Cares (www.melvincares.com), and she’s hoping to release her second album at some point next year.
