Ken DietzThere’s some eclectic style coming out of Jamaica Plain these days, and Ken Dietz is at the forefront. The principal and designer of interior-design firm Dietz & Associates lives and works in the neighborhood, but he’s done business from New England down to the south coast of Florida. Dietz works mostly in residential spaces — his clients include home-improvement guru Bob Vila, salon owner Mario Russo (who Dietz counts as a close friend), and architects Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti — but his firm has also handled commercial projects, including Somerville eatery Gargoyles on the Square. Dietz is also a softie who’s long been involved with nonprots like the AIDS Action Committee and the ICA.
