Lisa Pierpont
Not only did Lisa Pierpont create Boldfacers.com, the site that features weekly profiles and videocasts of Bostonian movers and shakers — everyone from authors and musicians to a tailor, a chocolatier, and a psychic — but she’s quite the personality herself. A former producer for Chronicle, Pierpont serves as Boldfacers’s editor-in-chief, does some freelance writing, is an overseer with the Boston Ballet, and has been known to throw an A-list party from time to time. Now Pierpont is gearing up for a springtime re-launch of her site, which made its debut back in November; the updated version is set to include event coverage, a full calendar, and an insider’s guide to Boston from the perspectives of the Boldfacers themselves.
