Marion KasslerMarion Kassler knows how to throw a great party — and, in her three years as special-events manager for the Greater Boston Food Bank, she’s done it with gusto, doubling the nonprofit’s annual events with Super Hunger Month (expanded from Super Hunger Brunch) and the Good Food Gala. Kassler has also created a group of young professional volunteers, dubbed the Kitchen Cabinet, who hold three cocktail events yearly and have proved a major asset to the Food Bank. She’s a do-gooder in her spare time as well: Kassler participates in the 126-mile Harbor to the Bay bike ride to benefit local health centers, and is serving on the planning committee for the Animal Rescue League’s Moonlight Ball Gala.
