Matt Burns
As one-third of the über-successful Aquitaine Group, Matt Burns has opened hotspot after hotspot, including Aquitaine, Aquitaine Bis, Armani Café, Metropolis Café, and Union Bar and Grille. The next addition to the group’s empire? Gaslight, an authentic (and reasonably priced) French brasserie that’s set to open in the South End in June. It’s a good thing Burns has so many successes under his belt; turns out, he’s a bit of a car fanatic, counting a Ferrari 360, a brand-new Porsche, and an “everyday” Mercedes among his most prized possessions.
